Welcome

Hello and welcome to my personal website. This site was created in 2003 in the aim to share with you my life in Sahaja Yoga, things that I've learnt in it, things that I feel are interesting, important or meaningful. I hope you enjoy your visit here and feel free to leave me a comment in my guestbook. Happy browsing!

My Sahaj life

I found Sahaja Yoga on the internet and got my self-realisation at the City Hall program in Hong Kong in 2003. (All Sahaj programs are held weekly and free of charge by the way so there's really nothing to lose by giving it a go if you too want to learn how to meditate.) One and a half years later, I moved to Australia and joined the Brisbane collective, which has since become a dear family to me. (There are Sahaja Yogis all over the world so I never feel alone no matter where I go.) One of the greatest assets of the Brisbane collective is the Wamuran ashram, which was built by yogis on a special piece of land owned by Shri Mataji. Most of the wood and bricks that were used to build the ashram came from this special land with tremendous vibrations. I feel very privileged to be able to meditate there with the Brisbane yogis every weekend (It's only an hour's drive from where we live). It's truly an amazing place and I hope you too can come and visit someday!

About Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga was founded by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in India in 1970, and has since spread all over the world. It is a unique method of meditation based on an experience called Self-Realisation (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being. It is entirely FREE of charge, as one cannot pay for the experience of DIVINE LOVE.

"Sahaja Yoga is different from other yogas because it begins with Self-Realization."
-Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
